Cllr Mark Allwood

Mark is 43 and has been married to Wendy for 11 years. He currently works for the Dorset County Museum as their fundraiser and has previously run his own business. Mark has been the Chairman of Dorchester Round Table over the last 12 months. “This is pretty close to being my ideal job: I joined Round Table five years ago and, having been involved in organising events such as the Carnival and the beer festival, developed an enthusiasm for fundraising. My job at the Museum allows me to combine this interest with an involvement with the history and natural beauty of Dorset,” explained Mark. “In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside with Wendy and her (off duty!) guide dog, Ursula.”
