Cllr. Andy Canning is Chairman of West Dorset Liberal Democrats and is a Councillor representing Dorchester North. He was first elected to West Dorset District Council in 2003 and Dorchester Town Council in 1999. He is currently Chairman of the Dorchester Heritage Joint Committee and the Town Council’s Management Committee & Recreational Activities Panel respectively. He also serves on the District Council’s Community Services Overview & Scrutiny Committee and the Audit Committee.
Andy lives in Dorchester with his partner Melissa Lane and their son, James.
