Cllr Tess James

Tess has lived and worked in Dorchester for nearly 30 years. She has a keen interest in how Dorchester continues to develop both as a vibrant community for those living in the town and as an attractive place to visit. Tess’ varied interests include singing, the arts in general, cycling and walking. She also shares an allotment. As a children’s physiotherapist she is particularly aware of the need to support the development of facilities for young people and to ensure our town is accessible for all ages and needs. Tess has sat on different committees both locally and at national level and has held senior posts. She is looking forward to the challenge of serving on the Town Council.
