Mick has represented Chickerell on West Dorset DC since 2003. He is an engineer who worked for a major international water company for over 30 years and was AUEW branch officer for a similar time. Mick sat on Social Security Appeals Tribunals for 25 years and for over 20 years was a governor of both Junior and Secondary Schools. He has also been Chairman of an F. E. College for 3 years. He is currently Chairman of Chickerell Youth Club. On the Council Mick has served on many Committees including Planning, Licensing, Dorchester Markets and Weymouth Port Health Authority. His considerable experience of Schools, Social Security etc coupled with willingness to help people with their problems has proved to be invaluable over the last four years. In his spare time Mick takes his boat out to catch prawns.
