Sarah has lived in Bridport for the past 11 years. She has a degree in fine art valuation and is married to local coast guard Steve. She is well known in the town as a popular bar maid and a stall holder in the Saturday market. “I want to represent the people in this town and fight for more affordable housing for local people. I fully support the way the current liberal democrat led Bridport Town Council are putting the environment at the top of their priorities”. Sarah listens to the views of her fellow residents and is happy to take up their issues and campaign on their behalf. She is currently investigating the need for a pedestrian crossing near her house in South Street. ‘Now the Londis shop has gone, people are walking to Morrison’s and find that the pavement disappears on the West Side of the street with no convenient crossing point’.
